Sign in with a password

Sign in and Create account are now two clear pages, a password is the main way in, and the emailed code stays as a backup.

Getting in is simpler, and it's always clear where you are.

  • Sign in with your email and password. Your password manager and iCloud Keychain fill them in for you.
  • Prefer a code? "Email me a code instead" still works.
  • Forgot your password? A link in your inbox lets you set a new one.
  • Joined with a code? Add a password in Settings → Sign-in & security.
  • Creating an account takes your name, email and a password, and asks one simple question about age instead of a number.
